Dreams Can Come True, If You Believe.....They Do

I believe that everyone should follow their dreams and always aspire to be the best they can be. To enjoy life to it's fullest and to do things they always wanted to. To try to inspire others and to continuously raise the bar for their children so they will rise to the occassion and follow by example, so they will in turn pick up on your ambition and dreams and always strive to be the best they can be in their own lives and hopefully make good decisions and good choices. I am writing about this today because we have set sail on another journey together as a family. My husband, Jose, has always wanted to be a part of an athletic team since he was younger, but due to other responsibilities at home, was not able to participate in many of these opportunities and pursue these dreams he has carried inside of him for all these years. I believe it is NEVER too late for anything and when he came to me about the idea of trying out for a Cross Country team, I said: "Go for it". You see, I believe that fulfiling your dreams will remain a mirage if you simply sit down and dream on. Why? If you have the support you need, there comes a time where you just simply have to rise up and just do it. Don't worry about what other people say, or that you think you are too old. Because you are never too old for new adventures :0) or new ideas. Engage your brain in forward gear. Like a ship in a harbor, cast off that rope that has been holding you back and keeping you in place, lift the anchor and set sail. Go see what's out there and see what this experience has to offer you. I am so excited to come along on this journey with him. You see, l believe that life is like a journey and I can't wait to see where this will take us. If it is only the gratifcation of seeing him run and looking into my sons eyes while their father does yet another wonderful thing, setting another great example for them. To follow your dreams and to enjoy your moment. I know it will be so worth it. And as you draw closer to shore, reality dawns on you that things are possible after all. Nothing is impossible, if you put your mind to it. Take charge, stay focused and you can do it.
