Hello everybody,So sorry that I have not written in a while. Things have been so busy here and I haven't really taken the time to sit down and keep everyone updated, but I'll be getting back into that here.
Something definitely worth mentioning is that Jimmy Campos, Jose's friend and Co-Triathlete, has also qualified for Boston during the Carlsbad Marathon this past January. We decided to go watch him fininsh this race since it was only a short drive from our house. This looked like a fun event and after catching up with Kari, Jimmy's girlfriend, we decided to wait for him at the last turn towards the finish. Just when there was about 1 minute left to qualify he came flying by. It was great!! We were all cheering him on. He gave a nice sprint towards the finish and I am sure he felt great when he crossed that line. We were very happy for him and are giving him a BIG CONGRATS!! It's too bad he will not be participating in the Boston Marathon this year with Jose, but perhaps next year? We'll have to wait and see. All that I can say is.....watch out for Jimmy during the Half Ironman in Oceanside this upcoming March. He is a force to be reckoned with. A secret weapon that will come darting by unexpected. Hahaha...Go Jimmy!!
