Well, we are very excited to have booked our trip to Boston for this upcoming April 2008. Jose is signed up to run the Boston Marathon and we can't wait to experience the Marathon, Boston and the East Coast. We have both never visited, except for the airports, which doesn't really count. We decided to rent a condo again, like we did in Sonoma. I am finding that this is much cheaper than staying in a hotel and of course it is so much more convenient with the kids. I will be able to cook our own meals instead of having to go out all the time which, from what I understand, is pretty expensive over there. So, this will be our "home away from home" for 5 nights this upcoming April. This condo is located in Hull, MA, which is located about 21 miles south of Boston. The condo is located on the beach. You can get to boston by Ferry as well as train and of course you can drive, which takes about 30 minutes. Anything in downtown Boston was so much more expensive, but I think this will work out fine as well. I am excited about staying here. It really looks great and I hope it is as nice as it seems on-line. If you are ever interested in renting a vacation home, you should look on www.vrbo.com or www.vacationrentals.com . This is how I found our vacation home in Sonoma and the prices are really reasonable. Anyway, we will keep everyone posted on how we live up to this "dream trip" and how Jose's injury is healing. He is currently dealing with a knee injury and cannot run for about 6 weeks. But he should have plenty of time to get ready for Boston. Take care everyone and we'll post another message soon!!
