This was, again, a monumental moment for Jose and for us as he ran the Marathon in 3:21:01, which was only a few minutes too slow to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Hopefully in the near future he can qualify for it. He has been talking to Mark Ford to find out which Marathons would be good to run so that he can try and qualify. We'll see where this takes us. :0) Utah? Sacramento? Chicago? Long Beach? Vegas? We'll let you know. Pretty exciting and I'm so happy for him. But for now, he is still focused on preparing for the Vineman on August 4th. First and foremost goal is to finish and secondly to finish in the time frame he would like. I'll just be happy that he crosses the finish line in one piece!! No injuries and still conscious. I guess I have been watching too many Julie Moss video's.
