These are pictures of the kids during their first 1 Mile Race last weekend (May 5th). We had such a good time with them doing this and it was a blast to see their reaction to everything. They were fascinated to wear their numbers on their shirts and see all the other 1000 kids there. Of course, running the whole way was not possible, so we walked a lot and they found everything during their walk very interesting. Like, wow, mommy, there are lights on the road (the reflector dividers - hahaha) We stopped at many to see. Joey ran the divider line on the road for a while and it was fun to see them skip, jump, run, walk, skidaddle to the finish line. I believe we were almost last. Hahahaha. But heh, finishing is winning, right? They were excited to receive their medals and wore them most of the day. So cute. Heh, might as well make all of this a family affair since Daddy is training so hard. They at least feel they are part of it too. :0) We were so proud. Have a great weekend everyone!
